A comprehensive online database aimed at keeping track of employee data for a given show department. The password protected site revolves around a central calendar which displays all employee absence for a given reasons, for example: Dep, Holiday, Unpaid Leave, Internal Cover, Sick, Day Off etc. Employees and absence reasons can be added and removed as required.
- Calendar Views – Day, Week, Month & Year.
- Employee Records – Holiday allowance/used/unused holidays for the current contract year, contact information, absence statistics generating a dynamic graphical graph. It is also possible to refine the calendar to only show a specific employees absence.
- Two levels of security - Admin (so the site can be managed and maintained by a HOD) & User (allows employees to view and request absence without being able to delete or manage the database).
- Request Booking System – Under the user account, employees may request absence given a list of reasons, dates and possible cover for the absence. An administrator can accept or deny the requests.
- Email Confirmation – An admin controlled email distribution list enables an administrator to select when an employee and his/her cover receives email notifications. For example: With a new request, when a request has been accepted/denied, when a booking has been amended or when a booking has been deleted. The administrator can also create email content using generic variables.
- Event Booking – Administrators can add/remove/edit all requests and bookings and also create events, which will be displayed on the calendar.
- Birthdays – Employee birthdays will be displayed on the calendar.
- Show Settings – A simple list of settings can be modified to personalise the online calendar to your specific show.
